The beach cam is definitely stuck. But that’s ok, because things may change inland but that beautiful stretch of beach that we see everyday on the cam will always be the same! Although I do love the rainy and nighttime pics.

I have been coming here for years and it’s never been this bad!
It doesn’t sound like these people are even reading the same comments that are normally found on the Marco web cam! Are they delusional? On the other hand, the beach continues to be beautiful!!
Finally found reasonable airfare to Marco. July can’t come soon enough!!
Do you fly directly to Marco or to Ft. Myers? We used to fly every year but since we’ve retired, we can spend more time on the trip so we’ve been driving in recent years. Also can take more “beach gear” by driving… Have a great time!

Looks like a beautiful morning on marco island. Soon my hubby and I will be walking along that gorgeous beach. 4th of july can’t come soon enough! Could there be anyplace more wonderful?

Hi Jennifer, Sand Dollar Spit is a long stretch of beach on the northern end of the island across from Tigertail public beach and lagoon. Hope you have a great Mother’s Day!
Kellie – Where exactly is sand dollar spit? We’re also from Cincy and we’ve been vacationing there for 5 years. Our kids are finally old enough to walk all the way down the beach, I think we need to go check it out
Wait a couple of weeks then try Amazon.com or even GNC stores. Everything Dr. Oz mentions is sold out within 48 hours!!
phillipa — the island is still as beautiful as ever! but there are a few new restaurants and a lowes store. the biggest change would be there are now two bridges, one for coming onto the island and one for going off, with a large flag at the base. it looks lovely!
The beach looks georgous instead of this weather rainy Liverpool England. We have not been for over 5 years what has changed in Marco can anyone tell me please?
What a wonderful place! I have been visiting and working in Marco for over 15 years!
we’ll be returning to our condo on marco in just 8 weeks. haven’t been there in a few months and miss it so. to Wilson — when you say “it’s not like it used to be”, are you speaking of the island? if so, in what way do you think it’s different? we have been going to marco for 12 years or so, and it still seems like paradise. i wish you well!
