What to watch for — Bishop Verot (2-1): The Vikings head into their District 3A-11 opener fresh off a somewhat uneven 16-6 win over LaBelle that saw them shut out in the second half. Senior QB Jake Kistel passed for 131 yards and 2 TDs and rushed for 60 yards in the win. For the season, he has completed 57 percent of his passes for 563 yards, 5 TDs and one interception. Senior DE Jessie Grant leads the team with 4 sacks. South Fort Myers (3-0): The Wolfpack have stormed out of the gates, averaging an area-best 46 points per game. Junior QB Dallas Crawford has completed 56 percent of his passes for 436 yards, 2 TDs and one interception. He is averaging just over 17 yards per completion. Crawford, also a defensive back, leads the team in both sacks (3) and interceptions (3).RB Terrell Neal leads the team in rushing yards (305) and touchdowns (4).
