That was exactly what Ed Grant, 48, of Estero, wanted to know.
“Why would you kick it to their best player?” he asked.
The Wildcats needs to let go of their coach. Plain and simple.
Why do the Wildcats need to let of their coach? Because they lost to one of the best 3A teams in the state? Are you kidding me? They beat Ida Baker last week, a 4A playoff team from last year. It was their first win against Lee County in over 4 years. But they lost to South so FIRE HIM! Sally, get a life!
Sally: Do you want to go back to the “glory” days of Brian Jones at coach? I don’t know if you realize this, but Dombroski started with 5 players that could run a 40 under 5 seconds his first season. This team is buying into his system, and improving. Dombroski’s previous team was an 0-fer team when he started, and in year 3 was a playoff team. Estero plays in a weak district, and had Sides not been out for half of last season, they would have had a significantly better record than 1-9. Year three in a weak district, the streak is over, and year three in Dombroski’s offense with his players. Losing to South is nothing to be ashamed of. A lot of teams will.
