Cape Coral cornerback/running back Spencer Boyd, a Notre Dame commit, suffered what appeared to be a leg injury early in the fourth quarter of the Seahawks’ 28-7 win against Lehigh.
Boyd may have a strained knee and his status for next week’s playoff game against Lakewood Ranch is uncertain. He’s expected to see a doctor tomorrow.
Reserve linebacker Hao Tran got hurt on the extra point after Cape Coral made it 28-7 with just over two minutes left. He stayed on the field for almost 10 minutes and appears to have suffered a concussion.
With the win, the Seahawks improved to 10-0 for its second undefeated regular season in program history.
