Colton Lynch’s moves have earned his high school some serious money.
A video of the Evangelical Christian School quarterback juking multiple defenders and finding his way into the end zone against Moore Haven earlier this fall earned the school $2,500 from State Farm Insurance Companies. The ECS video was one of 25 winners from around the country in the first half of Friday Night Feats, a national video contest on YouTube highlighting the biggest moments from this year’s high school football season.
ECS is in the running for a $15,000 grand prize. As of Thursday, the ECS video had more than 11,900 views, almost twice the number of hits of any of its video competition.
“Evangelical Christian School is thrilled to have won this award,” said Lisa B. Spearman, director of development for ECS. “Our video production teacher and students, athletes, faculty, staff and administration appreciate the community support every day.”
